Staff Machine Learning Engineer

My market leading client has a superb new opening for a Staff Machine Learning engineer with distributed training experience to join them on a permanent basis.

This role offers hybrid working. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Berlin for 1 day a week.

This is an English speaking position.

Essential Experience

It is essential for candidates to have proven commercial experience of putting solutions into production, at scale.

This is a staff level role where you will be influencing architectural and technical decision across departments. It is an individual contributor position with no people management, however previous experience overseeing multiple teams in a similar capacity is required.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Day-to-day you will be engineering pipelines, tools and infrastructure to be used by data scientists.

Required Skills

• Strong Python software engineering skills
• Solid cloud experience
• Ability to build/deploy ML pipelines
• At least 5 years commercial hands-on machine learning engineering experience
• Strong software engineering experience is essential.
• Previous experience with large-scale ML, training huge models used incredibly large imaging datasets.
