What needs to be done?
After extensive onboarding by experienced colleagues, you will steer the direction and development of cloud-native security products as Product Owner (d/m/w) throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will keep an eye on customer benefit, technological excellence, and economic viability equally.
- You will be responsible for the subject area of cloud-native security products with a focus on Zero Trust Application Access and e-mail filtering in private cloud or on-premise deployment.
- You will develop, review, and update product goals together with product management.
- You will derive development needs from the product goals and check their feasibility with the technical teams.
- You will collect requirements and their design as user stories in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- You will prioritize the backlog along strategic guidelines and manage capacities and dependencies in close coordination with fellow POs and managers.
- You will accept user stories, features, and releases, ensuring functionality, quality, and on-time delivery.
- You will maintain regular contact with the technical product teams and report to product management.
You will advise internal stakeholders and actively develop processes in product and requirements management.
What you bring to the table
- A completed technical degree or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in the IT sector
- Sound experience in the enterprise environment with cloud applications based on Kubernetes
- Enthusiasm for IT security in the cloud context – ideally with know-how in the area of Zero Trust Network Access and e-mail filtering
- Professional experience in at least one or more of the following areas: Product ownership in the B2B/cloud environment, ideally in the private cloud area
- Cloud-native security software development
- DevOps for on-premise cloud infrastructure
- Experience in the use of AI technology in a product context
- Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification with the ability to combine technical and commercial perspectives
- Strong customer orientation and experience in dealing with customer projects
- Entrepreneurial thinking and business knowledge
- Analytical and strategic thinking as well as very good moderation and coordination skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and high social competence
- Negotiable German language skills (at least C1) and fluent English
- A structured, responsible, and security-oriented way of working
