Your Responsibilities

  • Global responsibility for the technical and strategic further development of the Smaragd Compliance Suite – our leading AI-powered platform for combating financial crime and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Definition and management of the global product strategy, including value proposition, market positioning, and alignment of the international product roadmap.
  • Bridge between market, regulation, product vision, and technology: Derivation of strategic requirements as well as evaluation and prioritization of new use cases, industries, and segments (RegTech/AI/Compliance).
  • Translation of market and regulatory insights into epics and capabilities together with Engineering; responsibility for portfolio management and functional architecture.
  • Innovative leadership on components such as risk models, screening technologies, and AI-based compliance functions.
  • Establishment and assurance of functional governance, including traceability, quality standards, and global frameworks.
  • Strategic customer and regulator interaction at the executive level, as well as leadership of RFPs, workshops, and product reviews.
  • Stakeholder and management responsibility towards Executive Leadership, Sales, Legal, Architecture, as well as technical leadership/mentoring of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management, compliance, or RegTech.
  • In-depth expertise in AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and payment transactions.
  • Very good understanding of operational compliance processes in banks (e.g., transaction monitoring, screening, CDD, reporting, alert processing).
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into a strategic product vision.
  • Strong market, competition, and innovation orientation.
  • Confident stakeholder management at the executive level.
  • Leadership skills and thought leadership.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
