Job Description

Your Tasks

• Conducting online German courses at levels A1-B2
• Developing and creating high-quality and professional teaching materials
• Preparing lesson documentation to track students' learning progress

Teaching Hours:

• The lessons comprise 4-9 teaching units per week and usually take place on two weekdays in the morning or midday (until 2 PM, German time).
• Please note that we do not offer evening or weekend courses (according to German time).
• By agreement, you can also take on multiple courses.

Student Group:

• Our online courses are aimed at privately financed Chinese language learners aged 18 to 35.
• In groups of 10 to 15 participants, they prepare specifically for vocational training in Germany.
• These are not BAMF or integration courses.

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., DaF, German Studies, Linguistics, Sinology, Chinese Studies, or other humanities and cultural studies programs) -- or in an advanced semester
• Experience in the conception and execution of teaching units is a plus
• You master German at a native-speaker level.
• Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.
• Experience in online teaching, as well as in intensive language courses and exam preparation courses (e.g., for Telc, ÖSD, Goethe-Zertifikat, DSH, etc.) is an advantage.
• Flexibility, organizational talent, teamwork, and cooperation skills
• Pedagogical sensitivity and intercultural interest
