Job Description

As an agile, green startup and specialist for energy management and visualization software, we actively participate in shaping a sustainable, climate-neutral future. Our mission is to make energy consumption management as simple as possible with intuitive, AI-driven software for everyone – whether companies or private households – and to effectively help energy suppliers and corporate customers reduce energy consumption and their CO2 footprint. Your Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the performance, availability, and security of our software and system landscape. You will be the first point of contact for internal technical questions and will also handle customer support tasks. You will be in close contact with our project management and development teams and actively support our experienced system administrator. In a flexible environment, you will help build and distribute knowledge on topics related to deployment and work with exciting technologies such as PFense, OPSI, Proxmox, Bareos, or Ansible. You will also support the setup and operation of distributed cloud architectures with Docker and Kubernetes.

• You will manage all in-house systems (Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Gitlab, E-mail, product and development servers) as well as remote GreenPocket systems at customer sites, in various data centers & support in 3rd-level support of the GreenPocket software.
• You will build, develop, and optimize our development platform with a focus on increasing efficiency and availability.
• You will ensure the high availability of our services, including load balancing and clustering.
• You will actively participate in project operations to set up our software in customer infrastructures, e.g., further development of the automation of installation processes.

Your Profile

• You have initial professional experience in the IT sector, or alternatively in hardware and software support.
• You have a degree as a certified IT specialist in system integration or in a comparable field.
• You have expertise in system administration under Linux and Windows Server, as well as client management (Windows 11, Linux, and Mac OS X).
• You have initial knowledge in virtualization with KVM and initial experience in script creation (Bash, PowerShell).
• You are characterized by strong teamwork, reliability, and flexibility, as well as high personal commitment.
• You have strong communication skills and very good German and good English language skills.
