About the job

One of our clients needs a Trading Lead for their DTC sites across Germany and the UK. It is an established business with between 350-500 SKUs.

THE ROLE IS 100% Remote for anyone working in the EU. This is a contract role for 3 to 4 months. An extension is possible but unlikely.

Trading Ownership

  • Execute the trading strategy aligned with country-specific growth objectives.
  • Own promotional planning and trading calendars across DTC sites.
  • Drive revenue through analysis of KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV and sell-through.
  • Translate stock, pricing and performance data into actionable decisions.

Digital Merchandising

  • Lead site merchandising strategy, ensuring best-in-class navigation, product storytelling and seasonal execution.
  • Continuously improve UX by working hand in hand with the testing and optimization lead.
  • Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies to enhance AOV.

Performance, & Forecasting

  • Own weekly and monthly trade reporting for senior leadership.
  • Lead forecasting cycles and performance planning.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in digital trading and Ecommerce leadership within the electronics or consumer retail industries.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven revenue-driving capability.
  • Experience operating a Shopify store -- This is critical.
  • Highly analytical, confident in data interpretation and performance optimization.
  • Must have the experience and confidence to hit the ground running. There will be very little ramp time or training.
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to start in 1-4 weeks
  • English fluency
