At the same time, you will ensure that quality, product data, and compliance are correct: from certificates and CE documentation to adherence to relevant EU regulations and standards throughout the entire supply chain.\n\n### Product Development and Product Optimization\n\n* Identify new product ideas and categories through thorough market, trend, and competitor research, and translate them into concrete concepts that fit Funzy.\n* Manage the entire product development process: from briefing, material selection, and sampling to testing and market launch.\n* Analyze customer feedback data (reasons for returns, support tickets, reviews, UGC photos/videos) and derive concrete optimization measures.\n* Work closely with suppliers, pragmatically solve quality and product issues, and implement improvements directly.\n* Define and maintain product specifications (dimensions, materials, components, packaging) and ensure a clean handover to Operations/Logistics.\n\n### Quality Management and Product Data Maintenance\n\n* Be responsible for our certificate management (e.g., TÜV, OEKO-TEX, GS if applicable): documentation, validity periods, renewals, and coordination with partners.\n* Create and maintain CE conformity declarations and coordinate tests with external testing laboratories and suppliers.\n* Ensure compliance with relevant EU regulations and standards (including REACH, product safety, relevant EN standards; ideally in the context of ISO 9001).\n* Maintain and be responsible for product-related master data: technical data, care instructions, materials, test reports, and documentation.\n\n## Qualifications\n\n* Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification.\n* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, product development, product management, or category management, ideally in a similar role.\n* Ideally, experience in the consumer goods sector (preferably furniture, textiles, home & living).\n* Startup Fit: You are comfortable with fast pace, changing priorities, and imperfect processes – and you build structure precisely where it is most needed.\n* Hands-on mentality and strong ownership: you proactively drive topics, solve problems pragmatically, and bring things to a successful conclusion.\n* Very good understanding of quality, product safety, and compliance in the EU (e.g., CE, relevant EN standards, REACH; certificates like TÜV/OEKO-TEX/GS are a plus).\n* Negotiation skills and convincing communication abilities.\n* Strong analytical thinking and a structured way of working.\n* Enthusiasm for innovative products and trends.\n* Fluent German and English language skills.\n\n## Benefits\n\n* Insights into the exciting world of a dynamically growing e-commerce startup with plenty of room for maneuver.\n* Modern working environment: entitlement to a shared office desk, MacBook, flexible working hours, and remote work.\n* Unforgettable team events that strengthen team cohesion and provide variety.\n* Attractive employee discounts for you and exclusive benefits for family & friends.\n\nDoes this sound like a match?
