You can look forward to

  • Active participation in the operational core processes of the internal model, especially in the risk modelling area for property & casualty reinsurance
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration with various interfaces (e.g., with other departments or with BaFin)
  • Execution of regular model runs and preparation of result reports for different Hannover Re units
  • Calculation of key risk metrics, preparation of analyses, and support in diverse applications of the internal model
  • Implementation of model changes, including change impact analyses and validation activities

You come equipped with

  • Completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics, or another quantitatively oriented field
  • Initial experience in the (re)insurance industry, ideally with a focus on property & casualty
  • Programming skills in MATLAB are an advantage; strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficient user skills in both English and German, combined with strong communication skills
  • A creative and conceptual mindset, marked by curiosity, collegiality, reliability and strong problem-solving abilities
