Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Protections Whole Account team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (8 - 14 HPW) for 6 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Insurance Data Analysis.

We are responsible for placing all property and casualty reinsurance within the Hannover Re Group - the final piece in the insurance value chain. From insurance data and analytics to reinsurance contracts: you'll actively shape the entire process with us.

You can look forward to

  • Supporting our team in analysing Hannover Re's portfolios, including natural catastrophe risks
  • Assisting in structuring retrocession placements and working on contracts between counterparties
  • Helping your colleagues with day-to-day administrative tasks such as file management and data visualisation
  • Gaining insights into our risk management and the fascinating processes of reinsurance

You come equipped with

  • Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally, initial experience in data processing
  • General understanding of or strong interest in contract law
  • Programming skills in SQL or other languages are an advantage
  • Proficient user skills in German and English
  • Strong communication skills combined with a structured and responsible approach to work
