Our client is a modern and established project management company that realizes and manages significant infrastructure projects on behalf of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Around 50 employees work at the centrally located site in Hamburg's HafenCity on future-oriented construction projects -- from major transport projects to striking landmarks of the city.

To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced HR Specialist (m/f/d) for personnel administration, starting immediately, on a permanent basis. The attractive position can be filled full-time or part-time (min. 25 hours) and can be expanded with tasks in controlling.

Tasks

  • Independent processing of operational personnel administration
  • Responsibility for onboarding and offboarding, including contract documents, IT notifications, and organizational processes
  • Maintenance, administration, and quality assurance of personnel files and all HR master data
  • Preparation of all payroll-relevant data to support external payroll accounting
  • Contact person for employees/managers in HR-related matters
  • Participation in the further development of digital HR processes
  • Optional: Interface with corporate controlling (support with closing, annual budget planning, and variance analyses, as well as execution of target/actual comparisons and forecasts in the HR area)

Profile

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or business administration degree, ideally with a focus on personnel or controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in personnel administration or HR controlling
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially very good Excel skills
  • Confident use of HR software (e.g., Personio) or willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of labor and social security law
  • Structured, independent, conscientious, and reliable way of working
  • High discretion, sense of responsibility, and integrity
  • Affinity for numbers and analyses, as well as an understanding of financial contexts
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented advice for employees/managers
