With a team of over 40 employees, it is committed to sustainable solutions in agriculture. The company is part of a group (over 250 employees worldwide) and operates at 2 locations in Berlin. It is on a course of expansion and growth and its products are very well received in the market. Within 1-2 years, and upon successful performance, the person sought will have the opportunity to take over the role of commercial management (age-related succession).

Responsibilities

• Outlook: Full takeover of commercial management as a business all-rounder within 1-2 years
• Support/takeover of tasks from the Commercial Manager in steering and optimizing commercial business processes
• Responsibility for the creation of the annual budget and monthly reporting (plan-vs-actual comparisons, statistics) for the management and the parent company
• Establishment of a modern, digital controlling system and automation of reporting processes (creative freedom)
• Sparring partner for the specialist departments on opportunities for cost and process optimization, including the creation of investment analyses
• Determination of overhead rates (process/personnel costs)
• Price calculation for all company products
• Participation in the preparation of the annual financial statements in close coordination with financial accounting
• Central point of contact for financial topics within the corporate group (sister companies/parent company)

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in business administration (focus on finance/controlling) or a comparable qualification (e.g., vocational training with additional qualifications)
• Strategic thinking in financial matters
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in controlling/financial matters, ideally in a manufacturing environment or a corporate structure
• Sound knowledge of cost and performance accounting as well as some certainty in accounting (HGB, optional IFRS)
• Confident use of ERP systems and a high affinity for modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) for the digitalization of our dashboards
• You possess the ability to present complex issues in an audience-appropriate manner and to make convincing recommendations for action
• Fluent German and very good English skills for communication with the parent company
