VP Finance | Series C Aerospace Technology Company | €200K bonus equity

Location: Munich, Germany. Fully remote candidates will be considered.

We are partnering with a high-growth Series C aerospace technology company that is seeking a VP Finance to lead the finance function through its next phase of growth.

Developing next-generation aerospace and mobility technologies, the company is entering a pivotal stage of commercial expansion and international growth. Backed by leading global investors, they have established themselves as one of the most exciting businesses operating at the intersection of aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and deep technology.

This is a unique opportunity to join the executive leadership team and work directly alongside the CEO, Board, and investors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping company strategy and building the infrastructure required to support continued growth and future financing events.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP Finance will be No.1 in finance and responsible for building a world-class finance function while acting as a strategic partner across the organisation.

This role requires a commercially minded leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on growth strategy, capital allocation, and business planning.
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support scaling operations, manufacturing growth, and international expansion.
  • Support future fundraising initiatives and manage relationships with investors, lenders, auditors, and advisors.
  • Prepare Board reporting and provide strategic financial insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee accounting, compliance, controls, treasury, and financial operations.
  • Drive cash flow optimisation, profitability analysis, and operational performance improvements.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

What We're Looking For

  • Background in aerospace, aviation, advanced manufacturing, defence technology, industrial technology, deep-tech or R&D heavy hardware environments.
  • Experience operating within venture-backed, high-growth businesses, ideally at Series C.
  • Strong expertise across FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, and operational finance.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, strategic transactions, and Board-level reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
