We work predominantly remotely from home. Our office in Freiburg im Breisgau offers the ideal environment for collaboration and creative exchange at any time, as we place particular importance on personal communication during workshops. We meet at least once a quarter for a week on-site in Freiburg. In addition to Freiburg im Breisgau, you also have the option to work with our colleagues in Leipzig or Berlin.\n\n## Job Description\n\n* As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be part of one of our agile, self-organizing, cross-functional teams, consisting of a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developers, and UX Designer.\n* Focus on Onboarding & Master Data:\n * You will quickly and reliably bring customers to their first successful payroll.\n * To achieve this, you will operate, improve, and develop features for the creation and maintenance of company and employee data.\n * You will relieve employers of burdens in employee development – also with our self-service tools.\n * You will ensure smooth data versioning and maintain data quality through validations.\n * By implementing electronic reporting procedures, you will actively contribute to the digitalization of the state.\n* As a developer, you will extend and improve the Lexware Office codebase to continuously adapt it to evolving business requirements.\n* You can contribute constructively and critically to team discussions, help find consensus-based solutions, and make decisions together.\n* You are independent in your work and actively help to find and implement meaningful, robust, and feasible technical solutions for new features.\n* You do not hesitate when problems or obstacles arise and act independently or approach a colleague. We prefer short distances and direct communication.\n* You are willing to familiarize yourself with new topics and subject areas and to apply newly acquired knowledge meaningfully in upcoming tasks.\n* Your code will contribute to the continued success of Lexware Office. You are part of a large tech community that regularly exchanges ideas on cross-cutting topics and the continuous further development of our technical infrastructure.\n\n## Qualifications\n\n* You have 5 years of experience in developing and conceptualizing cloud-based applications, including sound knowledge of microservice architectures, database design, and RESTful APIs.\n* You have very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React – knowledge of TypeScript, AWS, Gradle, NX, and Terraform would be desirable.\n* You have an intrinsic interest in high-quality software development, a structured way of working, and can familiarize yourself with complex business domains.\n* You approach the implementation of new features reliably and with commitment, always considering both technical requirements and team decisions.\n* You can repeatedly adopt the perspective of our customers to make payroll a great experience for them.\n* You are passionate about agile software development (Scrum) and are comfortable with an iterative approach. Teamwork, constructive and proactive communication, and taking responsibility are a matter of course for you.\n* Our team language is German, so very good German skills (min. It is important to him to truly understand customer requirements and seamlessly integrate solutions into existing processes.\n* Sina works as a Product Owner in a structured, data-driven, and user-centric manner. She creates clarity in goals and priorities so that the team can make informed decisions and develop solutions independently.\n* Thomas as a Full-Stack Developer values maintainable code and particularly enjoys pair programming and ensemble work.\n* Tobias ensures as a UX Designer that users stay in the flow even with complex topics. He also seeks this flow privately while cycling.\n* Yvonne ensures professional clarity as a BA, supports with concepts and spontaneous questions, and contributes suitable solution suggestions thanks to her product knowledge.
