Role Overview
Hawkroot is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our remote team on a part-time internship basis. This opportunity is open to final-year students and recent graduates who are looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in data analysis within a professional environment. You will work directly with our analytics team, contributing to live projects and developing real-world skills across a range of industry-standard data tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and prepare datasets to support ongoing analytical projects
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights
- Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau
- Conduct basic statistical analysis and summarise findings in a clear and structured format
- Assist in building data models and contributing to structured reporting outputs
- Document data processes and maintain accurate records of analytical outputs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and timely project delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related analytical field
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data manipulation functions
- Exposure to Python or R for data analysis through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fully remote setting
- Based in Germany or holding valid authorisation to work in Germany
