Business Data Analyst
We are working with a company that is the central registry for all .de domains. As a market leader in Germany, this organisation is responsible for the technical stability of this important resource of the German internet, operating a worldwide network of nameservers to ensure global accessibility of over 17 million .de domains around the clock. As a cooperative, they work together with their members and other international partners to operate and continuously develop the internet.
The Role
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and standardised reports for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and further develop a uniform KPI framework, defining key figures, documenting their calculation, and ensuring a common understanding within the company.
- Conduct data analyses (descriptive, predictive, prescriptive) and prepare results in reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Contribute analysis and model results to the development of data-driven products for external customers.
- Write custom queries and scripts for data preparation and work in a CI/CD environment.
- Contribute to data quality and data governance.
What You'll Need
- Successfully completed studies in mathematics, computer science, economics, or business informatics.
- Sound knowledge of statistics, data mining, and AI methods (classical ML and LLMs) with a focus on practical application.
- Experience in building BI dashboards and standardised reports, as well as in defining and maintaining KPI frameworks.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Basic programming skills in Python and Go.
- Proficient in using Git in a team context.
- Confident demeanour, enjoyment of interdisciplinary and international collaboration, and a customer-oriented approach with high initiative.
- Very good German and English language skills.
