QA Specialist

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Lead a QA Automation team and define the test automation strategy across all levels (Unit, Integration, System, Stress, Performance tests).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to ensure delivery and quality commitments.
• Implement shift-left, automation-first, and risk-based testing approaches in the development process.
• Design scalable frameworks, harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive AI-native test automation, leveraging tools for test generation, maintenance, and triage.
• Mentor QA Engineers and contribute to the internal QA community.

What You'll Need

• Proven leadership experience in test automation with strong technical credibility.
• Excellent university degree (preferably Master's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Solid experience with multi-layered test frameworks, CI/CD, load, and performance testing.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language like C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Demonstrated effective use of AI in QA, preferably with agentic tools and experience in designing AI pipelines.
• Fluent in German and English, strong problem-solving skills, high innovation drive, and proactivity.
