Materials Development Engineer (w/m/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the selection, development, and qualification of components, adhesives, and film systems with the goal of transferring them into the production of our flexible solar modules.
- You will also manage and improve the materials used, in close cooperation with the project teams.
- You will actively support the process engineers at the production facilities.
- You will advise purchasing in technical discussions with suppliers and development partners.
- Analysis and improvement of processing methods and regulations are also part of your scope of work.
Your Profile:
- You have successfully completed a technical degree (e.g., Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering) or a comparable qualification with a focus on Chemistry.
- Ideally, you have experience in photovoltaics and data analysis (e.g., JMP, SQL).
- You have know-how in the field of plastics technology, plastics, or adhesive systems.
- A high degree of analytical thinking combined with the curiosity to get to the bottom of errors and their causes are among your strengths.
- Your profile is rounded off by very good communication skills and very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
