JOB DESCRIPTION

The role

This role sits within the Product Portfolio Management team in HelloFresh's IT & Tech organization ("HelloTech"), and is responsible for designing, automating, and governing processes such as IT Capitalization, delivery reporting, or R&D Tax Credit applications. You will dive deep into HelloTech's Portfolio and familiarize yourself with ongoing initiatives to bridge the gap between technical delivery (JIRA/GitHub) and reporting compliance (Capitalization/IP Remuneration), enabling them to track spend, manage headcount, and hit their budget plans.

What you'll do

  • Process Transformation: Lead the improvement and automation of workflows such as IT capitalization, R&D tax credit applications, and delivery reporting, moving from manual individual inputs to an automated, tool-driven, AI-supported process.
  • Compliance & Audit Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for process audits, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Tooling & Automation: Develop and maintain automated workflows integrating JIRA, GitHub, and Workday to capture technical work metadata for financial reporting in our HelloTech organization.
  • Project Leadership: Manage strategic projects to improve efficiency within HelloTech, such as improved Contractor Onboarding or the application of GenAI in reporting.
  • Portfolio Reporting & Insights: Partner with Tribe Leads, Engineering, and Product Managers to gain insights and maintain and improve our reporting landscape for deliveries and key metrics.
  • Leadership Meeting Preparation: Support with the preparation of (Senior) Leadership meetings and Demo Sessions.
  • Budget & Headcount Operations: Support tech leaders in tracking spend vs. plan, flagging variances, and maintaining visibility into headcount, open roles, and contractor ratios.
  • Operating Cadence Management: Support quarterly and annual planning rhythms --- OKR cycles, QBRs, AOP inputs --- ensuring leadership has what they need, when they need it.

What you'll bring

  • Relevant Experience: 7 years of experience in Consulting (internal or external), Project Management Office, Portfolio Management, or Strategic Initiatives teams.
  • Technical Aptitude: You are proficient with JIRA and confident working alongside technical professionals.
  • AI Native: You are excited to use GenAI as an enabler for automation and optimization, making processes and the organization as a whole more efficient.
  • Business Partnership: Ability to operate as a trusted operational partner to senior leaders --- translating financial and operational complexity into clear actions that help them hit their plans.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Proven experience in identifying and solving bottlenecks, not just solutioning.
  • Analytical Rigor: Comfortable dealing with data and gathering insights.
  • Process Design: Proven experience in designing complex, organization-wide reporting or governance frameworks.
  • IT Capitalization: Familiarity with the IT capitalization process is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence senior engineering leadership and align conflicting views between legal, finance, and technical teams.
