What you´ll do

  • Develop and continuously refine the global benefits strategy (including health, life, well-being etc.) aligned with Total Rewards strategy and business priorities
  • Serve as global expert for pension and retirement plans, ensuring governance, compliance, and optimized structures (DB/DC plans)
  • Consult total rewards teams across Henkel, in defining regional/local insurance programs and benefit policies, balancing risk mitigation with competitive offerings
  • Manage global broker/consultant relationships and lead renewal negotiations to drive performance and service excellence (e.g., Mercer, Aon, WTW)
  • Partner with Finance/Treasury to control global benefits budget and apply cost-efficient financing methods (e.g., pooling, captives)
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for benefit programs through disciplined governance and data protection standards (e.g., GDPR)
  • Champion technology and HRIS (Workday, SAP) to digitize benefits administration, enable self-service, and enhance employee communication

What makes you a good fit

  • Masters degree in HR / Business Administration / Finance or Economics
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to global employee benefits (employee share purchase plans, car policies, health, retirement, DB & DC plans etc.)
  • Proven track record of success in selecting, negotiating, and managing relationships with Tier 1 global benefits consultants/brokers (e.g., Mercer, Aon, WTW)
  • Expert-level knowledge of benefit regulations and compliance requirements in major regions
  • Fluent English skills
