Your Responsibilities:

• As an experienced Head (w/m/d) of the Information Security Advisory Center, you will be responsible for the further development of information security advisory services in the Hessian state administration. You will plan and monitor the deployment of the specialist team, coordinate contracts with external service providers, and manage the budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating security concepts, evaluating the BSI IT-Grundschutz methodology, managing reporting to decision-making bodies, and developing the process structure for the ISM tool. Through your work, you will ensure the protection of sensitive data and the security and integrity of IT systems in the state of Hesse.

Your Profile:

• You have a completed relevant academic degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or a comparable field of study, or possess equivalent knowledge.
• You have in-depth knowledge and many years of experience in information security management and have ideally demonstrated success in handling security issues and/or IT security incidents.
• You possess very good knowledge and experience of IT-relevant planning and control processes, particularly in the areas of budgeting and controlling.
• You have broad knowledge of security processes according to BSI-Grundschutz and many years of experience in applying the BSI-Grundschutz methodology, as well as in creating IT security concepts according to BSI standards.
• You have many years of experience in leading teams.
• You have analytical skills that enable you to quickly understand problems, develop solutions independently, and familiarize yourself with complex technical topics.
• Cooperation skills, holistic thinking, results-oriented action, and consulting competence complete your profile.
• You are willing to participate in on-call duty.
