Your Role
You'll be working on Hostinger's AI-powered WordPress experience, focusing on improving current features, enhancing generated content quality, and innovating user success pathways. This role presents unique design challenges, such as balancing user control over AI output, personalizing generated content, and designing for a diverse user base.
What You'll Do
- Design and enhance the AI website building experience, covering onboarding, generation, editing, and publishing.
- Identify and address shortcomings in generated output to meet user expectations.
- Develop intuitive AI interaction patterns (prompts, previews, suggestions, controls).
- Utilize AI tools in your workflow for faster prototyping, content generation, and idea exploration.
- Conduct user research across a spectrum of users, from beginners to experienced WordPress developers.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams on design and model output integration.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in designing consumer-focused tech products.
- A generalist mindset with expertise in UX research, interaction design, and visual design.
- Proficiency in using AI tools in daily workflows.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for prototyping and collaboration.
- Strong communication and feedback skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Hotjar).
- A strong portfolio showcasing product design process, thinking, and outcomes.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-assisted or generative product features.
