About the Company
Our client is a traditional, internationally active group of companies in the consumer sector with a strong multi-channel sales approach and millions of customers in over 10 European countries. The Digital Unit is already very successful in social media marketing, with several campaigns per year achieving over 100 million reach. However, the next stage of development requires an innovation driver (m/f/d) who not only recognizes new platforms, AI-supported content formats, and changing trend mechanics early on, but also actively translates them into marketable concepts.
For this newly created position, we are looking for a "Social Media Strategy Consultant" (m/f/d) as an external recruiting partner for direct permanent employment, who wants to help define the next chapters of this success story.

Responsibilities
- You enjoy thinking big and outside the usual boundaries of social media. With your creative ideas and open-mindedness, you drive innovation in storytelling, seeding, and new marketing concepts.
- You observe the competition and enjoy trend scouting, actively contributing these insights to teamwork.
- You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, CapCut) for efficient content ideation and test new social media trends and platforms for their relevance.
- You monitor trend mechanics (audio trends, meme formats, viral challenges) and translate them into brand-compatible campaigns and innovative seeding concepts.
- Monitor content performance (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, traffic) and conduct competitor analysis with clear recommendations for management.
- You brief external creators and internal teams, but are not responsible for technical production (video editing, design).
Qualifications
- Several years of conceptual and operational experience in social media marketing (e-commerce, D2C brand, or agency environment) with demonstrable success in increasing reach and engagement.
- As a heavy user, you are passionate about social media and know the current trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube – not just as a consumer, but you understand algorithms, content patterns, and community dynamics from your own use.
- You actively use ChatGPT, Midjourney, or comparable tools in your workflow and see AI as an efficiency booster, not a threat.
- You have demonstrably worked successfully with influencers or content creators, ideally in the lifestyle or consumer sector.
- You think creatively but validate ideas through performance data (Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics).
- Creativity, an open mindset, and enjoyment of teamwork complete your profile.
