Here in Düsseldorf, as a (Junior) Portfolio Manager (m/f/d), you will help to further develop and expand the business of Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (INKA).
Our subsidiary, Internationale Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (INKA), is one of the leading providers in the administration of special securities funds. Your Role:
As a (Junior) Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) in Fund Advisory Management, you will act for special and retail funds, ensuring a smooth workflow and the optimization of our daily trading activities for multi-asset products.
Your Responsibilities:
- Processing investment ideas and making discretionary investment decisions (including consideration of sustainability risks)
- Execution and settlement of orders in stocks, bonds, derivatives (including OTC derivatives), FX, target funds, certificates, and ETFs for the portfolio management of our retail and special fund mandates
- Analysis, monitoring, and management of trading-related risks associated with order placement, as well as the currently valid investment guidelines
- Exercise, instruction, and placement of capital measures and IPOs
- Active communication with internal and external clients*, brokers*, consultants*, custodians, and other service providers
- Development, implementation, and potential programming of measures for workflow optimization in order management and participation in divisional projects
- Preparation of analyses and reports, including on trading activity and best execution
- Support of internal and external interfaces in all trading and settlement-related questions for funds and mandates
Your Profile:
- You have a completed university degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
- You have initial professional experience in portfolio management, trading of securities, and derivatives, and possibly initial exposure to sustainability (ESG).
- You are interested in global financial markets and enjoy exchanging ideas and communicating with internal and external stakeholders*.
- You have gained initial experience in the use of MTFs (including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, and MarketAxess).
- You have a quick grasp of concepts and very good analytical skills.
- You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for preparing and presenting analytical findings, possess good technical and mathematical understanding, and have initial experience in Python and SQL.
- You present yourself professionally and competently, possess strong communication skills, and work independently and responsibly.
- You are fluent in German and have very good English skills, both written and spoken.
