Global Trade Solutions (GTS)

Our Global Trade Solutions (GTS) division supports internationally oriented companies in their global growth strategy. Role Overview

To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt we are looking with immediate effect for a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d).

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand and increase the existing customer portfolio and acquire new GTS customers
  • Deliver superior customer service jointly with the outsourced GTS services teams in line with being the Leading International Trade Finance Bank
  • Support local HSBC Relationship Managers and Stakeholders and engage closely with Coverage, Risk and all critical support functions.
  • Build an effective and professional team through training, coaching, guidance and support
  • Demonstrate a joined-up approach with other bank stakeholders
  • Ensure that GTS is working according to the Operational Guidelines, credit policy and the international product authorization under HBCE.

Qualifications

  • Deep GTS product understanding: supply chain, receivables finance, traditional trade (Letters of Credit, imp/exp finance) and guarantees is a must
  • Long-standing banking experience with the appropriate BA or MA grade plus international experience is desirable
  • Proven track record on distribution capabilities and good relationship with the local FIG community (Public Entities, Banks, Insurance, Brokers) is requested.
  • Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions as well as extensive knowledge of the market and market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detailed knowledge of Financial Crime Risk and Credit Risk including techniques to mitigate risk.
  • An independent, precise and structured way of working and high social and teamwork competence
  • Very good English and German language skills as well as very good communication skills
