HR System Specialist (m/f/d) | Personio

Full-time | permanent | Berlin | Hamburg | nationwide

Possible work locations:

You live in Berlin: currently Brunsbütteler Damm 448, Spandau | from summer 2026 Colditzstr. 34-36, Tempelhof, two days a week remote work possible (HWP HR department location)

You live in Hamburg: Große Elbstraße 279, Altona (HWP main location) or 100% remote work

You live in other locations in Germany: 100% remote work

Do you have a flair for digital HR processes and technical understanding? Then become part of our team and take responsibility for our central HR system Personio.

Where you contribute:

System Administration

• Support, maintenance, and configuration of Personio (e.g., users, roles, data fields, workflows)
• Integration of new features and modules in close coordination with the provider

User Support & Assistance

• 1st-level support for internal stakeholders (HR, managers, employees)
• Training & support for colleagues in daily use of Personio

Data Quality & Reporting

• Ensuring data integrity (starters/leavers, absences, contracts)
• Creation of HR analyses & reports

HR Process Digitization

• Optimization of digital HR processes (onboarding, absences, applicant management, etc.)
• Participation in digitization projects & system interfaces (e.g., to DATEV)

Interface Management

• Collaboration with internal partners from IT, Payroll, and external service providers
• Main point of contact for Personio support and implementation partners

What you bring with you:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in HR, Business, or IT
• Experience in HR system administration -- ideally with Personio
• Tech-savviness, structured working style, and a feel for processes
• Communication strength & team spirit

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of tools such as DATEV, time tracking systems, applicant management software
• Experience in data protection (GDPR) in the HR environment
• Project management skills
