Your Tasks as a PR Manager (m/f/d)

  • Give Visionaries a Voice: You advise and support individuals and companies in the digital industry confidently in German regarding public relations, especially CEO/Executive Communication as part of Corporate Communications.
  • Partner and Project Management: You are responsible for managing approx. 3 clients, working trustfully and at eye level with inspiring founders, C-level executives, and decision-makers. We deliberately call our clients "partners" because we work at eye level.
  • Workshop Facilitation: You conduct and moderate workshops.
  • Communication Strategy: You develop and implement person-centered communication strategies and positioning ideas.
  • Storytelling: You devise narratives and pitches for various media that interest journalists and are tailored to them and their outlets.
  • Content Creation: You write all texts relevant for PR/journalism (guest articles, interviews, LinkedIn posts, and speeches).
  • Market Monitoring: You stay informed about current developments in digitalization, track the market and media debates, always with a view to our partners' topics.
  • Tool Proficiency: You work with tools like Slack, Asana, Pitch, and the Google Suite.

Your Profile

  • Experience: You have experience in PR, journalism, or communications. The number of years of experience is less important than how you've used them. We value understanding communication as a strategic tool, a willingness to take responsibility, and active consulting. Experience helps, but attitude, drive, and the ability to learn are crucial for us.
  • Mindset: You are ambitious, agile, courageous, confident, demonstrate willpower, and enjoy advising at eye level. Every one of our partners expects proactive impulses, sparring, and the occasional "no" from us.
  • Growth Mindset: You have a growth mindset and want to continuously develop yourself and others professionally and personally. You are self-reflective, give and receive feedback actively and constructively.
  • Digital Communication Passion: You have a passion for digital communication. You can develop narratives and communicate them with technical precision.
  • Curiosity: You are curious, ask the right questions, and have a strong interest in digital business models and start-ups.
  • Team Player: The team spirit is important to you, and you want to take on a full role in our high-performing team. You enjoy sharing experiences and learnings and are empathetic.
  • Storytelling Skills: You love good stories, want to develop them, and tell them. You also understand the mechanisms of the media industry, media landscape, and social media platforms.
  • Self-Organization: You can organize yourself very well, work independently, and want to work in a "remote first" setup. Please note that a permanent residence in Germany is required.

Salary

Depending on experience and potential, we offer a salary between €49k and €57k (this salary range refers to a 40h position) including revenue sharing. We work with salary bands, so you can be sure to receive an attractive and fair salary.

The Application Process

If your application convinces us, the process starts with an initial conversation with People and Culture. Afterward, you'll meet our CEO Sachar for a brief introduction and Q&A. This allows us to get to know each other better and assess if it's a good fit for both sides. You'll then receive a small task via WhatsApp, giving you insight into our work and showing us how you approach topics.
