Software Developer (Remote)
An innovative organisation in the energy sector is looking for a Software Developer. You will join a team driving the digitalization of energy infrastructure by developing the technological basis for secure and standardized sensor data integration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and operating middleware services for processing telemetry data between IoT backends and third-party systems.
- Building cloud applications using Java and Spring Boot while enhancing existing service functionality.
- Optimizing Microsoft SQL database connections and implementing complex queries using Hibernate and JPA.
- Managing deployments and infrastructure automation within Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
- Designing REST APIs and gRPC/Protobuf interfaces for reliable service-to-service communication.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in cloud software development with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Proficiency in frontend development using JavaScript and React for internal tools and monitoring components.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
- Experience maintaining automated build and deployment processes using GitLab CI pipelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations and product management teams in an agile environment.
