Stellenbeschreibung

About Idana\n\nIdana is an excellently funded, high-growth HealthTech startup from Freiburg. Our software digitalizes medical history and patient forms in medical practices -- ensuring better care and greater efficiency. Thousands of doctors and medical assistants work with Idana every day. We are a startup in the scaling phase -- with us, you can grow and shape the future of healthcare.\n\n## Tasks\n\nYou will join a mature, high-trust engineering team of 4 Fullstack Engineers. We don't just write code; we own our services end-to-end on Google Cloud Platform. We believe in "You build it, you run it," peer reviews, and collective architectural decisions.\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Developer to complement our team. We don't believe in silos---everyone touches the full stack---but we need specific expertise to drive our upcoming challenges. Depending on your strengths, you will fit into one of two profiles:\n\n### Option A: The "Frontend Architect" (Focus Vue/TS)\n\n* You love the browser. You dive into the backend, but your superpower is structuring complex frontends.\n* Key Challenge: You will develop of our new Design System to ensure reusable components across our distributed frontends.\n\n### Option B: The "Cloud & Backend Driver" (Focus Go/Infra)\n\n* You love the engine room. You build UIs, but your heart beats for distributed systems and automation.\n* Key Challenge: You help us evolve our backend (currently a mix of TypeScript & Go) and strengthen our Infrastructure as Code setup with Terraform on GCP.\n\nRegardless of the profile, your core role is:\n\n* Sparring Partner: You act as a technical sparring partner. We challenge each other in code reviews and architectural discussions to learn, grow, and improve as a team.\n* Ownership: You take responsibility for your features---from the first line of code to the deployment pipeline (GitHub Actions) and monitoring.\n* Collaboration: You actively participate in architectural decisions. We decide collectively---often one person drives a topic, but we review and refine the solution together to ensure high quality and shared ownership.\n\n## Requirements\n\n* Experience: You have several years of experience in Software Engineering and a deep understanding of modern web architectures.\n* Tech Stack: You are proficient in either Vue.js/TypeScript or Go/GCP/Terraform. You don't need to be a master of everything on Day 1, but you must be willing to learn the rest.\n* Language: You are fluent in English (Team language). German is a plus, but not required.\n* Mindset: You fit into a team where "we" is more important than "I". You value clean code, maintainability, and honest feedback.\n* Location: Ideally, you are based in/around Freiburg (Hybrid) or are willing to visit for team events 1-2 times a year. Full Remote is possible.\n\n## Benefits\n\nReal Engineering Culture:\n\n* Monthly "Hack & Innovation Days" to explore new tech.\n* Lean Processes: Scrum with as few meetings as possible. We value focus time.\n* Modern Stack: Google Cloud, Terraform, Go, Vue 3 + TS, GitHub Actions.\n\nCompany Benefits:\n\n* A central role in a meaningful HealthTech startup.\n* 30 days vacation, flexible working hours, and 100% remote options.\n* Monthly non-cash benefit (50 €) and allowance for company pension scheme.\n* Clearly defined goals & development with OKRs, scorecards & coaching.\n* Regular team events in Freiburg & genuine togetherness.\n\nSounds exciting? A perfect profile is not crucial to us -- what matters more is that you want to take responsibility, fit into the team, and have the desire to advance digitalization in healthcare together with us.\n\n👉 Check out our employer reviews on Kununu and Glassdoor 🚀\n\n**Have we sparked your interest?
