While our tech teams work on innovative solutions, we are looking for you as central support for our internal processes in the area of Finance and Controlling. With your friendly, structured, and reliable nature, you ensure that our internal processes run smoothly. We are explicitly looking for a person who fosters teamwork and pitches in as an engaged team member.

Your Tasks

As a Working Student (all genders) in Backoffice, you are an indispensable pillar for the team and help to secure the organizational and administrative foundations for our success. You will gain deep insights into the processes of a growing software company, especially in the areas of Finance and Controlling.

Areas of Responsibility:

Administration & Organization:

• Management and optimization of internal processes and workflows.
• Coordination of correspondence and general system maintenance (interface management).
• Central point of contact for employee inquiries (e.g., document management, travel expense accounting).
• Support with document management, invoicing, and payment approvals.

Finance & Controlling Support:

• Assistance with budget tracking and monitoring of smaller budgets.
• Support with preparatory activities for monthly financial statements.

Event & Office Management:

• Support in planning and organizing internal events (e.g., Virtual Lunches, Team Meetings).
• General administrative support for the team.

Your Profile

We are looking for you if you want to be an engaged, positive, and reliable team member. You identify with the following characteristics and ideally have initial experience from a commercial degree:

Knowledge & Experience:

• You are a student (all genders) in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Administration, or a comparable field.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• You have very good German and good English skills both spoken and written (for internal communication).

Your Mission

Do you want to get to know and actively shape our KumoOps platform (Kubernetes, GitOps, Public Cloud) with our CloudOps team?

Then become our new Working Student / Intern (all genders)! The position is available immediately, remotely from all over Germany.

• You will work closely with the CloudOps team and be introduced to the KumoOps stack technologies.
• You will develop and test new features in the KumoOps core team under guidance.
• You will design and take ownership of smaller features around the KumoOps stack (e.g., Custom Alerting, Tooling, or Dashboards).
• You will support in handling support tickets, investigate incidents, analyze causes, and help create clear, actionable solutions.
• You will analyze logs, metrics, and events to diagnose problems such as outages or performance degradations.
• You will participate in on-call rotations with support and reliably communicate with customers.

Your Profile

Must-haves:

• You have solid basic knowledge of how to work with Git or similar tools.
• Very good German skills (min. C1)
• Very good English skills (min. C1)

Nice-to-haves:

• You have initial experience with ticket-based work and associated tools like JIRA.
• You have initial knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• You already have certifications like the CKA or are aiming to obtain them.
• You have initial experience with Bash scripting.
• You have initial experience with a cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OTC, or STACKIT).
• You have knowledge of Go or can quickly learn the language to understand and potentially improve Kubernetes Operators, CLIs, or infrastructure tools.
