Innovation Manager*in - Future Health Lab (m/f/x)

Job Description

As an Innovation Manager in the Future Health Lab, you will actively shape the future of the healthcare system. You will bring together people, ideas, and organizations, creating the conditions for new solutions to emerge and grow. With a deep understanding of cross-sector collaboration, you will guide innovation processes from the first spark of an idea to impactful implementation. Together with partners from business, academia, the public sector, and the startup ecosystem, you will develop projects, formats, and partnerships that strengthen the Future Health Lab as a leading platform for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and further develop an active corporate partner community and their project portfolios
• Coordinate and provide structured support for innovation projects involving partners from business, academia, the public sector, and startups (including idea generation, stakeholder management, pilot implementation, and planning)
• Conceptualize and lead innovation workshops, learning formats, and facilitate events and individual meetings
• Coach project teams and promote new ways of working and collaborating effectively
• Prepare and analyze data and information; create presentations, reports, and briefings
• Support the further development of existing innovative formats and contribute to the design of new innovation initiatives and products
• Assist in the development of new corporate partnerships
• Measure and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives
• Maintain and develop knowledge management for corporate partnerships and innovation programs

What you bring

• Passion and drive for shaping the healthcare sector: You are enthusiastic about healthcare innovation and want to actively contribute to its development.
• Experience in innovation or project management: You have already supported innovation projects, programs, or complex initiatives -- ideally involving multiple stakeholders from different sectors.
• Confident stakeholder management: You navigate smoothly between companies, startups, research institutions, and the public sector, bringing together diverse perspectives.
• Strong conceptual and facilitation skills: You have experience planning, conducting, and facilitating workshops, meetings, or innovation formats.
• High standards for organization and execution: You are self-organized, able to prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results with strong implementation focus.
• Excellent communication skills: You have outstanding written and spoken German and good English skills.

Job Specifications

• Working Hours: From 20 hours per week, with a flexible working hours model and the option to increase the weekly working time to up to 40 hours
• Start Date: End of February/March 2025.
• Compensation: The annual gross salary for full-time positions ranges between 38.836 € und 51.268 €, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, in line with our internal salary scheme. This is subject to an annual inflation adjustment.
• Contract Duration: Initially limited to 18 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Work Location: Future Health Lab (1100), with access to Impact Hub (1070), Climate Lab (1090) and Education Lab (1040).
