We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy understanding customer needs, defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable, high-quality products in a fully remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and priorities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and customer requirements
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer impact
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, business analysts, data analysts, and other cross-functional teams
- Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are well understood by the development team
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Monitor product progress and ensure features are delivered according to agreed requirements and priorities
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market insights, and product performance data
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and new features
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions meet business and customer expectations
- Track product KPIs and use data-driven insights to support product decisions
- Communicate product updates, priorities, and roadmap progress to relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous product improvement and Agile best practices
Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior (0--3+ years of experience, internships included)
- Degree or relevant experience in Business Administration, Product Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Understanding of product management principles and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar is a plus
- Basic understanding of software development processes and the SDLC is a plus
- Data-driven mindset with an interest in product metrics and user behavior
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote team environment
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn and grow
- Fluent in English
- Based in Germany with legal authorization to work full-time in Germany
