Your Responsibilities

• Support in the design and development of new hardware and software platforms
• Further development of development tools for software and hardware development
• Support in build and test automation (e.g., CI/CD)
• Adaptation of Embedded Linux for our virtualization solution
• Compilation of toolchains for building our application (e.g., Docker containers for building software)

Your Profile

• Completed studies related to the tasks, e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications
• Alternatively, demonstrable skills relevant to this job posting
• Experience in Embedded (Linux) Systems
• Basic knowledge in electrical and digital technology
• Proficient in Linux
• Sound knowledge of C and Git
• Interest in implementing secure booting (BIOS/Coreboot)

Ideally, you have:

• Experience with Embedded Linux (Buildroot, Yocto, OpenADK)
• Writing scripts and tools in Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience in Security (Secure Boot), Hypervisor, and Linux Container concepts (LXC)
• Experience in agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban)
• Experience with Coreboot, uboot, Linuxboot
• Linux knowledge in the low-level area (kernel, drivers, and system-level libraries as well as POSIX functions and syscalls)
