Role Overview
We're looking for a Test Coordinator to help organize and run testing activities for applications in the financial / payments domain. This role sits somewhere between business and IT. You'll help coordinate test cycles, keep track of what needs to be tested, document results, and support business users during UAT. At times you'll also jump in and execute test cases yourself when needed.
The systems involved handle financial transactions and payment workflows, so having some understanding of how these types of systems work is very helpful.
We're not looking for someone who only manages testing from the outside - we need someone hands-on, structured, and comfortable working with both technical teams and business users.
What you will be doing
- Organizing and coordinating testing activities across releases
- Working with business stakeholders and developers to clarify what needs to be tested
- Creating and maintaining test cases and test plans in Azure DevOps
- Supporting and coordinating UAT and system testing
- Executing test cases when needed
- Tracking defects and following up with development teams
- Keeping testing documentation clear and up to date
- Helping ensure testing runs smoothly and nothing falls through the cracks
What we are looking for
- Experience working in software testing, QA, or test coordination
- Experience testing financial systems, payments platforms, treasury systems, or similar transaction-heavy applications
- Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar test management tool
- Someone who is organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable communicating with both technical teams and business users
- Fluent English (German at least B2)
Nice to Have
- Experience with payments or treasury platforms
- Familiarity with financial messaging formats (ISO20022 / SWIFT)
- ISTQB certification
- Experience working in Agile teams
