💡 Our DaVinci software is the heart and brain for our tour operator clients. All travel components come together here, are configured, priced, marketed, and much more.

With the help of your Java expertise, we are now migrating the software to a cloud-based architecture and redesigning all work areas. You can support us in a creative team to revolutionize the processes of tour operators and open up new possibilities for them in travel configuration.

Tätigkeiten (Activities)

👩‍💻 For our diverse tour operator clients from the international tourism world...

• You will specify and implement new software code as part of our development team.
• You will develop modern frontends for our tourism business applications, e.g., master data management or booking portals.
• You will participate in various phases of the software development process.
• Within the team, you will conduct effort estimations for customer tenders and provide technical advice to project staff.
• You will contribute significantly to the further development of existing and integration of new software solutions.

👾 Our Tech Stack:

• We work with the Vaadin Framework.
• In the backend, we work with .NET Core Microservices.
• DaVinci NT is in the cloud. We work container-based with Docker and Kubernetes. Among other things, we use technologies like NginX and Keycloak.
• Our tour operator software is a multi-tenant application.

Anforderungen (Requirements)

🛠️ Your Profile:

• You have sound knowledge and at least 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
• You enjoy frontend development in the B2B business.
• You are knowledgeable in object-oriented software architecture, design patterns, and Domain-Driven Design.
• You are familiar with web technologies (HTML, CSS) and the basics of UI and UX design.
• Ideally, you also have experience with Vaadin.
• Ideally, you have already worked in cloud-based projects based on container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Team

• There are 14 developers in the development department for our tour operator software.
• Your team, which is completely revamping our most important software solution, consists of 6-8 account managers, product specialists, and developers, and is essentially a start-up within the company. The Product Owner is the CEO, who was also a developer and puts a lot of heart into the project.

Bewerbungsprozess (Application Process)

• Your application appeals to us - we will invite you to a video call with our Head of Development.
• During a personal follow-up meeting, you will deepen the exchange with our Head of Development and get to know our location near Cologne, the Managing Director, and important colleagues. We have a trial work period of approx. 2 hours for you.
