We are looking for a dedicated Mirth Connect Specialist to work with us on the development and implementation of medical interfaces and integration solutions.

ViREQ is the leading integrator for HL7, FHIR, and IHE projects, offering customized solutions for hospitals, laboratories, and medical device manufacturers. Our goal is to optimize the exchange and integration of clinical data, thereby making a valuable contribution to digitalization in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Development & Implementation of medical interfaces with Mirth Connect (CE), Java, and JavaScript for hospitals, laboratories, and medical device manufacturers
• Integration of medical devices into hospital information systems (KIS) using Mirth Connect and proprietary plug-ins
• Database development for managing patient data and laboratory results
• API development based on REST for connecting clinical information systems
• Quality assurance through the creation and execution of software test plans in JIRA
• Specification & Documentation of interfaces for the integration of clinical systems according to recognized medical standards

Requirements

• You have sound experience in development with Mirth Connect, ideally in the field of medical interfaces.
• You are proficient in Java and JavaScript and ideally have already worked in software development in the healthcare sector.
• You are very familiar with the integration of medical devices into hospital information systems (KIS).
• You have experience in database development, especially for patient data and laboratory results.
• You are confident in using API development and have already developed REST APIs for clinical information systems.
• You have experience in software quality assurance and are familiar with the creation and execution of test plans in JIRA.
• You have experience in the specification and documentation of interfaces according to recognized medical standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
