Responsibilities

• You will continuously develop MACH's proprietary ERP software and the MACH BI product with a team (5-7 people) of great colleagues.
• You will accompany the agile software development process from requirements analysis to delivery and support the creation of conceptual designs – your technical expertise and conceptual thinking can be effectively applied here.
• You can be relied upon: You will dedicate yourself to quality assurance and the correction of software errors in the modules for which you are responsible and are enthusiastic about good software quality (Clean Code, Unit Testing).
• You will actively and persistently drive changes in your areas and develop creative, meaningful solutions.
• As a personnel manager, you will foster community within the team and actively support the development of your employees' competencies.
• You will be a multiplier of the MACH corporate strategy within your team and simultaneously drive the development of themes and projects for our products.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as relevant professional experience as a developer – preferably with a focus on financial topics and/or ERP software.
• You are proficient in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Experience with BI software architecture (e.g., JasperReports Server or comparable) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience with typical BI challenges such as performance analysis, databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB), and data preparation is desirable but not mandatory.
• You have initial experience in the (functional) leadership of software development teams.
• You have very good German language skills (minimum C1 level).

Team

Our software forms the core of MACH and is shaped by our developers. Our development teams consist of approximately 5-7 people, including PO and Team Lead. In general, our open, human corporate culture is palpable in all teams. The teams organize themselves independently in a hybrid form. This means that some team members work completely remotely, while others come to our offices in Lübeck or Berlin up to 5 days a week. Our corporate culture is shaped by the people in the company. Even though we have been working together hybrid/remotely for a long time and want to maintain this, we also find it very nice to meet in person from time to time. Otherwise, you can work completely remotely within Germany.

This practical experience gives you the opportunity to learn more about our daily tasks & challenges while simultaneously getting to know a potential development colleague. We, in turn, gain insights into your way of working. Directly after the challenge, you will receive feedback from us. Additionally, we will discuss your leadership competencies with you and want to learn how you will implement your tasks/responsibilities in the team as a team lead. After the interview, we will contact you within a week, as a standard, regarding the next steps from our side.
