About the Role

MACH AG is seeking a Senior Java Developer (m/f/d) with a team leadership function, involving approximately 15-20% leadership responsibilities. This position is exclusively available to applicants in Germany and requires fluent German language skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Continuously develop MACH's proprietary ERP software with a team of 5-7 colleagues.
• Support the software development process from requirements analysis to delivery, including the creation of technical concepts.
• Act as both a team member and a leader responsible for the team members.
• Ensure quality assurance and fix software bugs in your modules, with a focus on clean code and unit testing.
• Proactively drive changes and develop creative, meaningful solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification, with relevant professional experience as a developer, preferably in finance or ERP software.
• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Initial experience in leading software development teams or a strong desire to develop into a leadership role.
• A focus on customer benefit and economic impact for MACH in all actions.

Team & Culture

Our development teams consist of approximately 5-7 people, including a Product Owner and Team Lead. We foster an open, human corporate culture with self-organizing, hybrid teams. Remote work is possible within Germany, with the option for some team members to work fully remotely. We value in-person interaction alongside remote collaboration.

Application Process

We offer a transparent, peer-level application process. It involves an initial remote meeting with our People Lead, followed by a remote interview including a programming challenge or code review. Feedback is provided immediately after the challenge. We aim to provide a decision within one week. If successful, we will discuss contract terms before you start.
