Responsibilities

• You take care of the administration of our internal and external Linux systems
• Malfunction reports? You receive them, analyze them, and find solutions -- in German or English
• You are the contact person for our customers in support -- friendly, competent, solution-oriented
• You get our software running on cruise ships -- remotely or on-site
• In close exchange with development, you optimize the operation of our products
• You keep an eye on the monitoring of our infrastructure and intervene before things get critical
• You actively support incident management
• Your documentation is as clear as a sunny day at sea -- you maintain and develop it further

Qualifications

• Linux is not a foreign word to you -- whether Debian, Ubuntu, or CentOS, you know your way around
• Networks are not a mystery to you -- you know what IP, routing, and DNS mean
• You have practical experience with databases and SQL -- ideally, PostgreSQL is familiar to you
• You are a strong communicator -- you feel comfortable in German and English
• You think: A little adventure is allowed -- an assignment on a ship somewhere in the world sounds more like a bonus than a burden
• You think outside the box, enjoy working in a team, and take responsibility -- even outside your own area of responsibility
