Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential delays in supplier order processing that could impact contractual deadlines
- Align expediting requirements with project procedures and documentation
- Coordinate with QA/QC to define monitoring levels for key equipment
- Assess the need for workshop visits and prepare corresponding visit reports
- Review purchase order documentation, including scope, services, and specific terms
- Collect and analyze monthly supplier progress reports, production schedules, and subcontractor status
- Investigate and resolve documentation-related issues that may affect delivery
- Work closely with project management to mitigate delays through supplier intervention
- Escalate critical delivery disruptions and support the implementation of corrective measures
- Maintain accurate expediting status reports
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and resource-efficiency standards
Your Profile:
Professional Experience & Technical Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in oil & gas or plant construction
- Strong knowledge of document processing and evaluation (EVA)
- Familiarity with components commonly used in plant engineering
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Project), SAP, and PLM/DMS systems
Personal Competencies:
- Strong understanding of project structures and proactive issue resolution with suppliers and team members
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to meeting project deadlines
- Confident in managing challenging discussions and complex project dynamics
Methodological Competencies:
- Skilled in structured planning and information gathering
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Language Skills:
- Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
