- Indirect Procurement Manager (m/f/d)
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global market-leading metal processing company as an Indirect Procurement Manager (m/f/d). You will be responsible for all indirect materials closely related to the production line, serving a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, building engineering, machinery, and maritime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect purchasing, aligning with business objectives.
- Manage all indirect procurement categories essential to production (e.g., PSA, MRO, fluids, gases).
- Evaluate, develop, and manage national and international suppliers.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through methods like price benchmarking.
- Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers, promoting collaborative and solution-oriented relationships.
- Serve as the procurement interface for key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in implementing cost optimization projects within indirect purchasing.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing indirect procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in both English and German.
Offerings:
- Salary: Up to €80,000, plus bonus.
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days home office).
- Location: Germany
