IT Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

- 4 days on-site, 1 day home office

I'm partnered with a leading professional services company based in Hamburg that is searching for an IT Procurement Manager to join their team, covering hardware & software. This will play a key role in delivering strategic sourcing initiatives and driving procurement excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, influence business decisions, and contribute to cost optimisation and operational efficiency across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support end-to-end strategic sourcing activities for IT, software & hardware, from market analysis through to supplier selection and contract negotiation
- Manage a portfolio of procurement projects, ranging from routine renewals to complex, high-value negotiations
- Perform market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations to guide sourcing decisions
- Assist in contract development, risk evaluation, and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and business units to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives, including process optimization and change management
Experience Required:
- 5 years of IT Procurement experience across hardware & software
- Demonstrated success in negotiating supplier contracts and delivering cost efficiencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach
- Keen interest in IT, digital solutions, and procurement innovation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a professional and diplomatic approach
- Fluent English & German language
