To accelerate our international growth, we are seeking an AI Sales Excellence Manager at our Karlsruhe location.

Tasks

  • Manage and optimize international performance KPIs for agent channels (Sales After Support, Telesales Inbound & Outbound) using modern AI tools to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the design, training, and performance tuning of conversational AI agents (chatbots, voice bots) to enhance sales and service performance.
  • Design and orchestrate AI-driven omnichannel, cross-selling, and upselling campaigns for the IONOS customer base, covering audience selection, content creation, and channel steering.
  • Contribute to automating commission processes (e.g., identifying, attributing, and validating sales via AI-supported plausibility checks or rule-based models).
  • Analyze sales, campaign, and agent performance data to identify patterns, forecasts, and opportunities, translating insights into concrete actions.
  • Automate and optimize sales and campaign processes end-to-end.
  • Act as a central interface between Customer Care, Product Management, Data/AI, and Customer Intelligence to align business, data, and technology requirements.
  • Present concepts, results, and automation initiatives to stakeholders and decision-makers, playing a key role in the strategic evolution of our agent channels.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, telesales, or performance management, preferably within an IT context.
  • Strong knowledge of modern AI tools in sales and campaign environments (e.g., GenAI, automation workflows, AI-based CRM functions).
  • Experience managing or optimizing sales channels, campaigns, and sales KPIs.
  • Strong numerical understanding, analytical thinking, and proficiency with data tools (e.g., BI tools, Looker, Excel).
  • Experience designing and executing data-driven campaigns across multiple channels.
  • A structured, goal-oriented working style and the ability to coordinate stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, coupled with strong teamwork and a hands-on mentality.
  • Understanding of how AI can enhance performance management, attribution, forecasting, and process automation.
  • Initial experience with, or strong interest in, automating compensation and commission processes (e.g., rule models, AI checks, integrating Jira queues into commission lists).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 2-3 times per year for 3-4 days.
