Freelance IFS Integration Consultant -- E-Invoicing

I'm currently supporting a Germany-based client looking for an experienced IFS Integration Consultant with a strong background in e-invoicing integrations.

Contract Details

Start: August/September 2026
Duration: 2--3 months initially
Location: Fully Remote
Workload: Flexible (Part-time or Full-time)

Key Responsibilities

Design and define e-invoicing interfaces between IFS Cloud and external e-invoicing platforms.
Produce functional and technical interface documentation.
Write interface specifications, data mappings, and integration documentation.
Support the creation of interim CSV exports from the legacy ERP system.
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful integration design.

Required Experience

Strong experience with IFS (preferably IFS Cloud).
Experience integrating IFS with another ERP system.
Proven experience delivering e-invoicing integration projects.
Experience designing interfaces, defining data mappings, and producing technical documentation.
Strong understanding of ERP integrations and interface architecture.
Able to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

Experience integrating with EDICOM or BDP e-invoicing platforms.
German language skills (preferred but not essential).
Experience with PEPPOL , XRechnung , Factur-X , ZUGFeRD , XML , or UBL invoice standards.
Experience with middleware or integration platforms.
