About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible.

Your role

  • Develop and implement the global Clinical Operations strategy aligned with corporate, Clinical Development, and portfolio objectives
  • End-to-end responsibility for oncology clinical trials from protocol development through database lock and study closeout
  • Develop operational plans, timelines, resource forecasts, risk mitigation strategies, and performance metrics aligned with Clinical Development Plans
  • Oversee study feasibility, site selection, enrollment planning, vendor management, and study governance
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Development to execute early-phase oncology studies, including first-in-human, dose-escalation, dose-expansion, basket, umbrella, and platform trials
  • Integrate biomarker strategies, companion diagnostics, central laboratory activities, tissue collection, and translational research requirements into clinical studies
  • Build, lead, and develop Clinical Operations teams and establish scalable operating models, including CRO and vendor management with budget and quality oversight
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, MHRA, etc.) and support executive leadership in portfolio prioritization and development planning

Your profile

  • More than 12 years of progressive clinical research experience with strong oncology leadership, strategic vision, business acumen, and portfolio management expertise
  • Proven track record of leading global oncology programs from early-phase development through regulatory approval
  • Extensive expertise in biomarker-driven studies and precision medicine approaches
  • Solid experience in biotech, specialty pharma, or innovative oncology-focused environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial resources effectively and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
