Advanced Escalation Engineering
- Lead investigation of critical incidents involving integrations, imaging workflows, and distributed systems
- Diagnose failures across HL7/FHIR/API integrations and ensure accurate data exchange between clinical systems
- Optimize application performance and maintain routing workflows
Integration Architecture Troubleshooting
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and related healthcare standards
- Support interoperability between PACS, RIS, dictation, and EHR systems
- Manage imaging workflows, routing configurations, and enterprise integrations
Platform & Infrastructure Diagnostics
- Work across Kubernetes, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure to resolve systemic issues
- Analyze system performance, availability, and configuration drift to prevent recurrence
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with engineering teams on corrective actions, bug reporting, and hotfix planning alongside project and customer success managers
- Develop SOPs, workflows, and technical documentation for operational maturity
- Mentor Tier 1/2 staff and improve overall troubleshooting quality across the team
Requirements
What you Bring
- 5+ years in healthcare technical support, integration engineering, or imaging IT
- Proven experience with RIS/PACS platforms (Siemens, GE, Sectra, Fujifilm, Dedalus, or Agfa)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and REST-based healthcare interoperability
- Experience with voice recognition applications such as Nuance, Fluency Direct, and 3M
- Proficiency across Linux/Windows environments, networking, VPN, TLS, and firewall behavior
- Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP, and log-driven debugging
- Experience with tools such as Jira Service Management, HL7 Inspector, Mirth/Cloverleaf, SQL Studio, and WinSCP
- Professional proficiency in English (C1+) and German (B1+) mandatory, additional languages (French, Spanish, Dutch) a strong plus
