Job Posting

Are you experienced in quality management and ready to take on responsibility – in a part-time model that fits your life? Then you're in the right place.

In this role, you will support our Quality Manager as the central point of contact for the quality management system according to ISO 9001 (optional ISO 14001). You will participate in internal audits, compliance, and reporting topics, keeping an eye on key figures, requirements, and interrelationships. The scope of tasks is clearly tailored to the part-time model and will be prioritized together.

We are a specialized technical wholesaler and development partner for lighting and electronic solutions in the automotive and industrial sectors. On the market for over 50 years with the dynamics of a medium-sized company, short decision-making processes, and direct contact with management.

Your Responsibilities:

Quality Management & Audits

  • Participation in the planning, execution, and preparation/follow-up of internal audits according to ISO 9001
  • Support with audits according to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), if available and desired
  • Maintenance and further development of quality and audit documents, as well as tracking of measures

Legal Register & Compliance

  • Maintenance and updating of the legal register (e.g., quality, environment, occupational safety, product liability)
  • Monitoring of relevant standards, guidelines, and legal requirements
  • Support for internal departments on quality and compliance-related issues

Communication & Collaboration

  • Point of contact for internal teams on questions regarding quality management, environment, and compliance
  • Communication with customers and suppliers on quality-related topics (e.g., certificates, declarations of conformity, questionnaires)

Reporting & Management System

  • Participation in management, departmental, and environmental and sustainability reports
  • Support in the further development of the integrated management system (quality, environment, sustainability)

Complaints Management (Representation)

  • Representative participation in complaints management in close coordination with the team
  • Support in processing, evaluating, and documenting complaints

What You Bring:

  • Commercial or technical apprenticeship or a comparable qualification, ideally with further training in quality management (e.g., QMB, QM-Specialist, Auditor ISO 9001)
  • Experience in quality management within a company – You want to deepen your knowledge and take on more responsibility? It's a match!
  • Confident handling of ISO 9001; knowledge of ISO 14001 is a plus, but not a must
  • Interest in legal texts, standards, and requirements (including maintaining legal registers) and their implementation in daily business
  • Clear, appreciative communication, both written and oral (German at least C1)
  • Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of working with key figures
  • Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel & Word), experience with document control systems is an advantage (e.g., in SharePoint)
  • Good English skills, spoken and written (at least B2)

Don't worry if you don't meet all points 100%. What's important to us is that you are professionally curious, work in a structured manner, and want to further develop your experience in quality management.

We welcome applications regardless of gender, age, origin, disability, religion/belief, or sexual identity. What matters is that you are interested in quality management and want to fill the role with commitment and responsibility.

An email to personal@jfuehr.com is sufficient:

Please send us your CV and a few sentences about yourself and your interest in the role.

This is how the application process works:

First interview online. To get to know each other and align expectations.

Second interview on-site in Hamburg. In a personal exchange, we will deepen the conversation professionally and personally.

Additionally, you can expect two short elements:

Practice-oriented technical task from quality management (approx. 45 minutes) to get to know your working style and technical understanding. The content is deliberately broad and not all elements will be equally weighted in the future workday.

Short moderation or team task (approx. 15 minutes) where we simulate a decision-making situation to gain insight into communication and collaboration.

Both elements serve mutual getting to know each other – not an examination of individual specialist topics.
