Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor engineering managers and technical leads, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance
- Define and evolve technical architecture across products, balancing scalability, maintainability, and speed of delivery
- Drive the transformation of software development lifecycle practices by integrating AI-assisted and automated engineering workflows
- Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, testing, code reviews, and release management to ensure reliable delivery
- Monitor engineering performance metrics to identify risks, improve processes, and guide data-driven decisions
- Optimize team structures and workflows to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and long-term scalability
- Collaborate with product, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities while maintaining engineering autonomy
- Provide hands-on technical guidance when needed, including architecture reviews, system optimization, and complex problem-solving
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering leadership, including managing managers and scaling distributed or remote teams
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern development practices, system architecture, and cloud-based environments
- Proven expertise in leveraging AI technologies, including LLMs and automation tools, to enhance developer productivity and delivery speed
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and leading technical transformations in fast-growing environments
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution when required
