About the Role

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative in Germany. You will join a high-growth, globally distributed revenue team focused on driving new business opportunities for one of the leading platforms in DevSecOps and software delivery.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of outbound and inbound prospecting, engaging with key decision-makers across technical and business functions. You will play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline opportunities by combining strategic outreach, data-driven targeting, and consultative communication. Working closely with marketing and sales teams, you will help shape early-stage customer engagement and support the expansion of innovative software solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads while ensuring timely and relevant follow-up
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with prospects across target accounts
  • Generate qualified meetings and contribute to Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) targets
  • Build and execute outreach strategies using multiple channels including email, phone, and social engagement
  • Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and tailor messaging to drive engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted account lists and outreach strategies
  • Track, manage, and report all activities using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Continuously improve outreach effectiveness by documenting and refining processes
  • Act as a mentor and support resource for new team members when needed
  • Contribute to pipeline generation efforts aligned with revenue growth objectives

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales development, business development, marketing, or similar customer-facing roles is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, including confident phone presence and excellent written communication
  • Ability to conduct effective discovery conversations and engage multiple stakeholder profiles
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a strong desire to grow in sales
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce is highly desirable
  • Strong research skills with the ability to understand accounts, industries, and buying signals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
  • Additional language skills such as Dutch, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish are a strong plus
