Your Mission

As a Cloud Administrator at JTL, you are responsible for the stable, secure, and scalable operation of our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You ensure that cloud resources are provisioned, monitored, and continuously evolved in a standardized, reliable, and efficient manner. In doing so, you lay the technological foundation for our product development, internal systems, and customer-facing services. A key part of your role is establishing clear guardrails and self-service models that enable other teams to provision cloud solutions independently. Your goal: maximum speed and flexibility for development without compromising security, stability, or cost control. Cloud-native principles are not just a buzzword here---they are part of everyday practice. Especially in e-commerce, high innovation speed, uncompromising security, and reliable integration are critical. Our platform processes sensitive data, connects numerous first- and third-party systems such as payment, shipping, marketplaces, and warehouse logistics, and continuously evolves toward an AI-driven e-commerce of tomorrow. Your work ensures that this complexity remains manageable. Working closely with operations, security, development, and architecture teams, you actively shape the evolution of our cloud strategy. You ensure that cloud services not only work, but are operated sustainably, securely, and cost-effectively. Responsibilities:

• Design and operate structured Azure environments with policies, management groups, and clear standards
• Manage identities, access rights, and compliance requirements (including GDPR)
• Implement and operate security mechanisms such as IAM, network security, secrets management, and just-in-time access
• Design and implement secure network architectures with VNets, private endpoints, and hybrid connections
• Conduct security reviews and risk analyses and derive appropriate measures
• Automate cloud infrastructures using Terraform
• Develop reusable modules for networks, policies, and security components
• Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable and efficient deployments
• Establish monitoring and logging concepts and optimize performance and availability
• Drive cost optimization and ensure transparent reporting
• Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and architecture teams
• Advise internal teams on secure and efficient cloud usage patterns

Your Profile

• Strong Azure expertise and hands-on experience operating cloud platforms
• Excellent knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in cloud security, particularly in Azure environments
• Ideally, hold Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer) or are working toward them
• Clear communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with DevOps, engineering, security, and IT teams
• Eagerness to continuously develop skills and contribute ideas to improve security, scalability, and efficiency
