Senior AI Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help build and scale Juno -- the agentic AI layer powering our platform. You'll turn ambitious AI designs into robust, production-ready systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll implement multi-agent workflows, integrate LLMs into real products, and continuously raise the bar on code quality and reliability. How We Work: Agentic-First Engineering

At JTL, AI-assisted development is not optional - it's how we build. Engineers on our team actively uses tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants as part of their daily workflow. We expect you to bring experience with these (or similar) tools.

Your Responsibilities

• You design, develop, and maintain AI-powered services and agentic workflows for Project Juno.
• You build and integrate LLM-based applications using modern AI orchestration frameworks.
• You develop scalable backend services and APIs for AI systems and platform integrations.
• You implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool-calling, memory, and orchestration patterns.
• You integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and internal services.
• You optimize AI workflows for reliability, latency, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• You collaborate with Product, Platform, Data, and DevOps engineers to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
• You contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering standards.
• You implement monitoring, logging, testing, and observability for AI systems in production.
• You stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Your profile

• You have 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• You have strong hands-on experience with Python.
• You have experience building and deploying AI-powered applications in production environments.
• You have experience working with LLMs and AI orchestration frameworks.
• You have a strong understanding of API development and backend engineering.
• You have experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• You have experience implementing RAG pipelines and vector search solutions.
• You are familiar with prompt engineering, tool-calling, and agent workflows.
• You have experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• You have experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
